On-Site Precast Manufacturing
On-site precast manufacturing means setting up a working precast concrete plant at the project site and producing paver blocks, kerbs, tiles, bricks and RE blocks where they will be used — instead of buying them from a distant factory and trucking them in.

Why a large project manufactures precast at site
Freight and breakage leave the equation
Precast products are heavy and edge-sensitive. On large volumes, long-distance transport adds significant cost and a steady percentage of broken, rejected material. Producing at site cuts both down to a minimum: products move metres from the curing yard to the work front.
Production follows the project programme
An onsite unit ramps up and down with your work front. There is no dependence on a distant plant's order book, transporter availability or market stock — supply is planned against your site schedule.
Quality is controlled where it is laid
Mix designs are approved by your project, cubes are tested batch-wise at site, and your engineers can inspect production and curing any day. Quality control becomes part of the project rather than a certificate from far away.
It suits large-volume, long-duration works
The model earns its keep on projects with big quantities and long programmes — container yards, ports, highways, townships and plant infrastructure — where the plant runs for months and the savings compound.
What Progressive Engineering provides
One responsibility, end to end. We bring and operate everything the onsite unit needs:
Products manufactured onsite: paver blocks (M30–M60), kerb stones, chequered tiles, fly ash bricks, RE wall blocks and CC solid blocks.
What the site setup involves
Project assessment
Quantities, timeline, available space, water and power — we assess and propose the plant configuration.
Plant setup
Machines, moulds, batching and curing arrangements installed and commissioned at your site.
Production
Daily runs on vibro hydraulic press (steel moulds) or wet-cast process (rubber moulds), to approved mix designs.
Curing
Controlled curing at site so products reach the specified strength before despatch to the work front.
Quality control
Batch-wise cube testing and records for your engineers' and client's inspection.
Delivery & laying
Supply to the work front, with laying and fixing by our own teams where required.

How to enquire as a contractor
Send us your BOQ, product list or approximate quantities with the project location and expected start date. We respond with a preliminary view on whether an onsite unit suits the project, and what the setup would involve. Go to the enquiry form →
